AbstractClimate change and geographical factors and geographical location on earth have their own precipitation and fluctuations. The geographical features of the place are one of the influencing factors on the rainfall of each region. Also, the role of environmental variables in the amount and distribution of precipitation is undeniable, especially in mountainous areas. Flood vulnerability varies over time and from one region to another, which is due to special natural conditions, human activities, and the risk culture of the society exposed to damage. The effects of environmental factors on climatic elements have caused the increasing use of statistical techniques in climatic studies. Therefore, in the current research, climate change and effective geographical factors in urban floods in Yazd province.In this study, 9 factors of slope, direction of slope, height, network of waterways, rainfall areas, vegetation map, soil map, land use were identified as effective factors for causing floods in the regions. Then the information layers were prepared in the Gis environment. Conclusion According to the conducted research and observations of climate change and geographical factors of the study area, the results show that among the effective factors in causing floods in the study area, the factors of height, slope, amount of rainfall, water network and land use, respectively, are the most important causes of flooding in the region. that the studied area is in a very high-risk category, and the results of the study indicate the high potential of the area in terms of flood risk due to geographical

Background and Aim: Today, the aging of the population is considered a big challenge for the cities and considering the increase in the elderly population in the near future, if this phenomenon is not properly recognized and planned to deal with it, it can become a social, economic and even political crisis. be at the level of the cities of the country. The purpose of this research is to investigate the general situation of aging in the cities of Gilan province, as the first ranking of aging in the country Informing city officials about the challenges caused by this new phenomenon on the urban space and planning to deal with it. The area studied in this research is Gilan province, where the urban elderly population has been investigated by city.Methods:Documentary method and secondary data analysis were used in the current research. The statistical population of the research consists of the urban elderly of Gilan province.Findings and Conclusion: The findings of the research showed that the cities of Gilan province have the highest rate of aging in the country, with an average of 7.5% of the elderly population; Among the cities of the province, Anzali city has the highest number of urban elderly in the province with about 9.9%. Also, most of the cities of the province are faced with the aging of the population and the prevalence of aging women is also evident in these cities. At the end of the proposals of this research, it has been achieved to provide solutions to deal with the consequences of aging and increase the role of the elderly in city planning as well as urban adaptation plans.
